Wrapped MistCoin is a web3 protocol centered around the WMC token. MistCoin is the first ERC-20 token ever created, launched by Ethereum Foundation lead developers 16 days before releasing the standard with Vitalik Buterin. Its launch on November 3rd, 2015, coincided with the introduction of a custom token system for the Ethereum Mist Wallet. Ethereum pioneers Fabian Vogelsteller and Alex Van de Sande both lead the project.
