About

Synthetix is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that allows users to trade a wide range of synthetic assets, including cryptocurrencies, commodities, equities, and forex. It operates on the Ethereum and Optimism networks, using the SNX token for governance and as collateral to mint synthetic assets, known as Synths. These Synths track the price of real-world assets, providing on-chain exposure without the need to hold the actual asset.
