It also involved in the purchase, sale, leasing, development, and construction of real estate properties. It serves approximately 5 million inhabitants. The company was formerly known as Edelsur. Luz del Sur S.A.A. was incorporated in 1994 and is based in San Isidro, Peru. Luz del Sur S.A.A. operates as a subsidiary of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd.
