30 of 62 Original OKXICE Issuers Object to Tokenized Stock Trading
Thirty of the 62 companies on OKXICE's original proposed roster had objected by October 27, blocking those third party tokenized shares from trading on the venue under the SEC exemption and materially narrowing its planned stock universe.
What changed in OKXICE's tokenized stock plan?
OKXICE's October 27 notice listed 33 issuer objections overall, including 30 of the 62 companies on its original roster, or about 48%, after JPMorgan Chase, AMD, Applied Materials, Coca Cola, Adobe, Dell Technologies and Sandisk joined the objection list.

Why do the objections matter for OKX?
The objections reduce the breadth of stocks OKXICE can offer under its planned venue, making issuer participation a direct constraint on customer access and market coverage before launch, although no resulting revenue impact has been disclosed.
Does an issuer objection stop OKXICE from operating?
No. Under the SEC order, a timely objection prevents that venue from trading the issuer's stock when tokenized by an unaffiliated third party, but it does not cancel the venue or prohibit issuer sponsored tokenization.
Are the companies rejecting stock tokenization entirely?
Not necessarily, as JPMorgan told CoinDesk it remains interested in tokenization while choosing not to participate in the OKXICE venue at this stage.
What happens next for OKXICE?
OKXICE still describes the Tokenized Securities Venue as coming, while each timely issuer objection removes the affected third party tokenized stock from what the venue can make available under the SEC exemption.
